Me: Can you show me proper form to deadlift 55 lbs barbell?

Son: Sure (explains how and watches my form when I do it. Gives the thumbs up when I got it)

Me: We can go get somewhere to eat after I do my weights. I bumped it up 10 lbs for the barbell on each end and 20 lb hand weights. Let me get started and hope I don't hurt myself...not that I'm trying to. (closes door and then turns around.... stubbing pinky toe (barefoot, mind you) into weights, and immediately collapses and folds like a broken lawn chair in tears.)
